| Do I have to pay my co-pay at my visit? |

All cosmetic charges must be paid at the time of service. New Patients will be expected to pay $25.00 when scheduling an appointment. When you come to your appointment, the $25 will be applied to any charges owed. If you no show, the $25 is non-refundable. |
|
| What is a deductible/co-insurance? |
|
| Your deductible or co-insurance is the part of your medical charges that you must satisfy before your insurance begins paying your medical claims. Coinsurance is the percentage you pay after you have met your deductible. So, if you have a $500 deductible and 20% coinsurance, you pay 100% of the insurance rate until your deductible is met and once it is, you only pay 20%.
Recently, most plans have begun to include a deductible or co-insurance. If your plan includes a deductible or co-insurance that you have not met and you have a procedure performed on the day of your visit to our office, you must be prepared to pay your deductible/co-insurance at the time of service. We do our best to verify patients’ insurance benefits; however, it is the responsibility of the patient to know the rules of his/her insurance plan. If you do not know if you have a deductible/co-insurance, you should contact your insurance company |
